How long can a kiss from Richard Gere have an effect on a girl’s life?

Well apparently, the answer to date is 5 months!

Bollywood actress, Shilpa Shetty is still feeling the fall out, (albeit not of the romantic kind) from the ‘unwanted’ kiss she received on her cheek at a public AIDS awareness event in New Delhi in April of this year, from 58 year old Gere.

According to reports on Yahoo, Immigration officials at Mumbai airport briefly detained Shetty on Wednesday this week, siting their reasons as being that she was still wanted for obscenity charges filed in the wake of the public kiss.

The only obscenity being committed here is the sight of an old guy like Gere forcing himself on, and kissing, a woman young enough to be his daughter! YUK!

I guess kissing in India is like eating an India Madras curry, it comes back to bite you on the *** much later!!!
