It was his last stand against his hard hearted former wife, Madonna, that saw Guy Ritchie losing his two sons to The Big Apple.

While Guy has fought long and hard to keep his two sons, eight year old Rocco and his three year old Malawian adopted son, David Banda in England with him, it now seems that the, very, Material Girl has won the battle and the war and now gets to keep all three of her children close to her in New York.

Madonna’s 12 year old daughter, Lourdes, already lives in New York to be close to both her mother and her biological father.

Heartbroken, Guy told friends that although his sons will be living on the other side of the Atlantic he will still see them regularly and stated, ‘It doesn’t matter where they live they will always have the hearts and souls of Englishmen. Football, appreciating the countryside, good humour and decent music.’

With Madonna announcing the start of her Eastern European tour it seems somewhat strange that she should be either awarded or even want the children to be in New York at a time when she wont be there with them!
