Side Dish: Bite Sized Daily Dirt - Friday 9/28

Posted under Free for All & Lindsay Lohan & Brad Pitt & Zac Efron & Owen Wilson & Vanessa Hudgens & Bite Sized & Bono

Low carb celeb snacks for all!

  • bono.jpgRockstar/humanitarian Bono just accepted a Liberty Medal for his humanitarian work in Africa. Is it just us, or does it seem like all of the stars and musicians these days work more outside of their field? Bono exhorted Americans to keep working to solve the world’s problems and spoke of those who are without freedom. (USA Today)
  • Everyone’s favorite reality-TV mom, Sharon Osbourne wants to adopt. Before you call child services… it’s Brad Pitt she hankers after. “I would adopt him any day,” Ozzy’s wife of 25 years told reporters. She even called herself a “dirty old cow.” Oh Sharon, don’t be too hard on yourself. (OK! Magazine)
  • Oh boy, the world has some serious issues these days. Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have their own magazine now. Yeah, we said it. And guess what the name of it is? “Zanessa: The Magazine.” (Glitterati)
  • Owen Wilson’s bringin’ smile back. The suicide man was caught in all smiles in LA recently…after all, he didn’t die so that’s definitely a reason to smile! It’s still highly doubtful though that Wilson will be in NYC for the premiere of his new flick The Darjeeling Limited. Can you say lucky? Having this film released now is nothing shy of a blessing to boost his career. (Popsugar)
  • Sniff, sniff, Lindsay Lohan. Jackass Steve-O, told Howard Stern that the tartlet-gone-wrong stole a bag of the white stuff (yes, cocaine) from him. The jackass, who was laughing like a damn hyena, went on to say that La Lohan took “boog suge” from him after she forgot her wallet in his bathroom and had to come back to get it. To make matters worse, she had to sign a release for a DVD Steve-O was making at the time. Celebrities are weird. (New York Post)
  • Martin Scorsese, who won his first Academy Award this year for directing The Departed is now focusing on a project about the life of Beatle George Harrison. With Across The Universe being released, it seems as though “Beatles fever” is catching on quite quickly! (Yahoo! News)
