Rather than kicking back after releasing the most sought-after film of the year, Sex and the City alumna Sarah Jessica Parker has decided to toss her name into the proverbial hat as a possible candidate for the upcoming dramedy, The Ivy Chronicles.

E! Online confirms that the mother-of-one is currently “in talks” to star in the tale concerning a single woman living in New York City; a character SJP has perfected over the years!

If the project works out, Parker will portray recently divorced mother Ivy Ames, a gal who gets axed from her high-powered job and is forced to trade in her uptown dwelling for a not so trendy apartment.

But luckily, thanks to the make-believe nature of Hollywood, she pulls herself together and ends up flourishing in her new life.

The in-the-works flick is said to be an inspiration to women everywhere, and will not doubt sell a multitude of tickets before you can say Carrie Bradshaw.
