Amy Winehouse’s Blake is Out!

No longer can beleaguered singer and Grammy Award winning Amy Winehouse punctuate every public appearance with, ‘this is for my ‘Blake, my incarcerated Blake’, because today, Amy’s husband, Blake Fielder Civil is a free man. 

Well, of sorts! After a year of being locked away from the world in Suffolk’s Edmonds Hill Prison, sentenced to 27 months, of which he has served 12 months, after a court found him guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice with a bribe, Blake was released today and immediately sent to rehab.

Anderson Cooper, the silver haired CNN anchorman of Anderson Cooper 360, took time out of his busy election coverage schedule to share his thoughts on the specifics of the election with talk show host, Ellen Degeneres.

 

Ellen posed the very controversial, and rarely hit upon subject of ‘dance’ in the general election. Asking Cooper, ‘seriously, how important do you think the issue of dance is in this election?’

Having reached the status of senior citizen today, a 60 year old Lulu made an appearance on a UK TV show presented by Alan Titchmarsh which saw the 1960’s Shout singer and former wife of Bee Gee, Maurice Gibb, looking barely older than 45.
The former self professed user of Botox declared that the filler chemical was no longer the reason behind her youthful looks but attributed it to mental attitude, dance, yoga and a healthy diet, saying, ‘To me, feeling good about yourself as you get older is all about your attitude - if you think you’re old, read more ....

For a guy of 72 years of age, John McCain is showing an enormous amount of stamina during his presidential campaigne, which will end late tomorrow night.

 

Even after completing a grueling last week on the campaigne trail, McCain, following in the footsteps of Sarah Palin, took time to make a personal appearance on the, now politically charged, Saturday Night Live show, this past weekend.

Jessica Simpson’s Second-Rate Setback

Despite the fact that Jessica Simpson’s latest acting gig Major Movie Star was No. 1 in Russia earlier this month, American fans will have to wait ‘til February to see the “Come On Over” crooner in all her patriotic glory.

The film, soon to be renamed Private Valentine: Blonde & Dangerous for its U.S. release, centers around a ditzy starlet who enlists in the army to  make enough bank to pay off her bills … stop laughing I’m serious.

This year, as movie goers, we’ve all been very spoiled with the release of the best anti-man movie ever, Sex and the City, starring man eaters, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall. Quickly followed by the movie with the music score that has seen us all embarresing ourselves on the dance floor (at some time in our lives), Abba’s Mamma Mia.

The long awaited Changeling opened in movie theaters yesterday, Halloween, and Angelina Jolie could well have been starring in the Thriller video in celebration of October 31st with her dead pan whiten flesh and dark circled eyes that were originally aimed at giving the effect of a mother down trodden by the disappearance of her young son and the L A P D’s reluctance to search for him.It’s a movie of two halves.
