Here’s a guy who would be better entering the legal profession rather than football or acting, given the amount of time OJ Simpson spend in court these days! OJ’s court appearances are steadily out numbering those of Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown and Judge Alex put together.

Simpson’s latest debacle sees him facing charges of robbery and kidnapping that could land him in prison for life if convicted.

But with a secret tape having been played to the jurors this week in which law enforcement officials can be heard laughing at the arrest of Simpson and the ridiculing of his defense team, the entire case has been sent into disarray.

When the former football player and actor was arrested in Las Vegas the arresting officers were tapped referring to Simpson as a “jackass” and a “dirt bag”.

Joking about Simpson’s trial back in 1995 where he was acquitted of the murder of his ex wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman, the police mimicked his defense team quoting the line from Simpson’s famed attorney Johnnie Cochran, saying: “Hey, if the glove don’t fit then you must acquit.”

The tape recording was played in court by OJ’s defense lawyers on Friday during cross-examination of a witness as the prosecution case prepared to wind down its case as the trial ended its third week.

He is accused of leading a gang of gun-toting men into a Las Vegas hotel room last September to confront two sports memorabilia dealers who were selling items Simpson claimed had been stolen from him.

Four men involved in the heist have struck plea deals that will see them testify against Simpson, who is on trial with another man, Clarence Stewart.

The case continues.
