Mouthy Madonna On The David Letterman Show!

The self obsessed Queen of Pop, Madonna was ceremoniously carried onto the stage of the David Letterman show last night by the ice-hockey team NY Rangers.

Instantly showing her temperamental attitude, while also claiming it to be one of her reasons for leaving England, the 51 year old blonde put Letterman in his place when he referred to her as “Madge’.  Madonna stated that the name “Madge’, had been one of her pet hates in the country she tried to call home, saying, ‘You know that’s one of the reasons I left England, so I don’t have to hear the word Madge again. People say it means two different things. Some say it is a colloquialism for a boring middle-aged housewife - others say it is short for majesty.’

Nothing to do with her divorce from second husband Guy Ritchie then?

The Material Girl went on to talk on only subjects that she wished to cover, such as the rumours of her impending marriage to her toy boy lover, Brazilian born Jesus Luz, telling the audience, ‘I’d she’d rather get ‘run over by a train’ than walk down the aisle again’. And there are a lot of people who would like Madge to be run over by a train, for example, Mrs Alex Rodriguez, Cynthia.

Clearly not wanting to be questioned about her dalliance with A-Rod, when Letterman approached the subject Madonna quickly hijacked the conversation by turning the guns on Letterman referring to the his recent  bad publicity over a joke he made about Sarah Palin’s daughter and A-Rod, saying, ‘Didn’t you almost get arrested for bringing up A-Rod’s name?’

Known for her past bad behaviour on the chat show hosts show, when in an appearance on his show in 1994 she publicly pronounced Letterman a ’sick f***’ and told him the only reason she had come on stage was because there was ‘no escape,’ it soon became apparent that the venomous mouthed Madonna had her own agenda for gracing Letterman’s couch when she promoted the release of her new best of hits collection Celebration, which was released this week.

Referring to the changes that had occurred in her life since she last appeared on the Late Show, Madonna added, ‘Last time I was on I had three kids and I was married and you had one kid and weren’t married,’ to which Letterman replied ‘You were married eight years right?’ Madonna replied, ‘Yeah - the Bush years. It was a good time to be out of America.’

And there must be plenty of people in the USA who wish the contemptuous ’Madge’ had remained out of the country!
