Michael Jackson may have left this mortal coil some four weeks ago now, but he’s still chillin’. And we don’t mean in the cool and trendy way! No, Jackson is still on ice somewhere in Los Angeles waiting for his family, who lets face it have been known to argue over just about anything, to stop bickering about where he should be laid to rest and to get on with the job.

Michael’s inspiration and close friend, James Brown was kept hanging around in a deep freeze for more than 10 weeks while his family squabbled over where the Get Up Offa That Thing singer’s remains should be interned. And drug guzzling Anna Nicole Smith’s body laid in icy conditions in the Bahamas after a three-week battle for her corpse and the legal skirmishing over her five-month-old baby, Jamielynn, continued and eventually it was her home in the Bahamas that saw her being laid to rest

So at the moment, James holds the record for ‘getting on down’ in a deep freeze, but with every passing day of dispute between the surviving Jacksons, Michael is heading towards being in pole position.

The reason why Mr Jackson hasn’t yet been buried, is not being revealed according to a family spokesperson, but according to CNN reports citing Radar Online, the family still hasn’t decided a permanent resting place for Jackson, and they may be awaiting the return of a portion of Jackson’s brain before interring him.

But wherever Jackson’s final resting place is, there’s one sure thing, the rest of the Jackson family will doubtless charge a an entry fee to see the grave.
