Miley Cyrus and her employer the Disney Channel sought to keep rumors that Cyrus was seeking to part ways with “Hannah Montana” at bay.

Apparently, there have been reports of on-set problems, which a spokeswoman says are simply not true!

Cyrus, 15, one of the world’s most popular teen celebrities, said she had no plans to leave the show — Disney’s most watched series for 6-11 year-olds.
“I am fully committed to ‘Hannah Montana,”‘ Cyrus told People in a report on the magazine’s website on Monday. “It’s what gave me this amazing opportunity to reach out to so many people,” Cyrus told People. “I couldn’t do it alone. We have an amazing cast that is so supportive, including my dad who has been there for me every step of the way.”

TMZ.com sparked the rumors that Cyrus was actually TRYING to get fired and doing things like showing up late, stalling production and angering her co-workers and directors.
Oops. They must’ve been confusing her with some other teen starlet known for doing all those things…
