Does Jennifer Lopez really need to herself in print in a dispute over a bit of bling worth just $50,000 when she can spend that amount on a couple of strollers for her twin babies?

But that’s the latest controversy that Jenny from the block has become embroiled in since attending the launch of Andrea Lieberman’s fashion line ALC, in Beverly Hills.

Lopez’s stance on the ‘borrowed’ gems by Robert Mouawad, is that, although other celebrities such as Gwen Stefani, Leah Remini and Ellen Pompeo also borrowed baubles, have returned their jewels loaned from ACL, she was the only named celebrity on the invite and that her endorsement at the event included keeping the clothes and the jewels.

According to the New York Post, the Monster in Law actress’s manager, Benny Medina, insists the 39-year-old star was given the jewelry along with clothes from the ALC fashion line in return for hosting the event.

Medina said: “There was no demand whatsoever. There was an offer. It was very clear. It was agreed she would be given the entire collection of jewelry and clothes.

By next week 39 year old Lopez, will probably have the diamonds strung up as mobiles above the kid’s cribs!
