Can’t keep a good gal down!

Rather than cowering in the shadows after being dumped by one of America’s leading heart-breakers *cough* John Mayer, Miss Jennifer Aniston is holding her head high and sticking to what she does best: vividly lighting up our television screens.

The former Friends star has arranged to put in a guest appearance on Tina Fey’s Emmy-winning series, 30 Rock. “She is shooting now,” publicist Stephen Huvane exclusively informed E! Online. “We are not giving any specifics on her character.”

Although NBC prefers to keep Aniston’s loyal fans tied up in knots, we do know that the new season premieres October 30; so at the most we’ll have to remain patient for about two or three months. It will be tough, but certainly worth the wait!

Meanwhile, some are speculating that the beauty queen’s fabulous career move could be a secret slap-in-the-face to Mr. Mayer. There’s nothing like rocketing back to the top after being declared the “dumpee” by every publication on the planet. Why not remind your ex about what a gifted - and gorgeous - woman he gave up?

And it sounds like the actress is doing just that.

“It’s like Jennifer is on nothing less than a revenge tour,” a source told OK! “While in the past, Jennifer shunned publicity and shrank from photographers’ lenses, now she’s openly encouraging the attention, smiling, showing off her body, and creating photo ops!”
