What a turn around! Earlier this year we were lead to believe that Jennifer Aniston was devastated by the rejection she experienced at the hands of John Mayer as he ended their relationship while it was still in it’s infancy.

Then, just a couple of months later Friends star Aniston managed to wangle her way back into his affections and has seldom been seen without Mayer since.

So when the guy goes down on one knee and pops the question that we all assumed Aniston was waiting to hear and he gets a big fat ‘no’, Mayer is not the only one who is left dumb founded!

But Jennifer has rejected the proposal insisting that she thinks it would do more damage to their relationship than good.

But John isn’t deterred and is still hoping that their relationship can eventually move on to the sound of wedding bells.

A source told Look magazine: “John told Jennifer she is the girl for him and he is sure of it. He is willing to do anything she wants as long as they are together. He is like a different guy. John was over the moon when Jennifer took him back last month and he never wants them to be apart again. He really wants to settle down with her. He wants children, marriage - the whole thing at some point.”
