Leonardo DiCaprio is rumoured to be working once again with director Martin Scorsese, with whom it would appear he feels as comfortable working with in much the same as Johnny Depp, who has collaborated with director and close friend Tim Burton in seven films. Dicaprio has already starred in Gangs of New York and The Departed for the legendary director.

Titanic star, DiCaprio’s latest role will see him taking singing lessons as he undertakes a biopic of the life of crooner, Frank Sinatra!

The UK newspaper, The Sun reports, “Leo has hired a top vocal coach to get him sounding like Sinatra. He is a massive fan and has always wanted to play him.” The Sinatra film- which has been in development for years- will focus on his dealings with the mafia.

Earlier this week reports claimed Jamie Foxx might bag the role as New York, New York, singer Frank!!! Strange, wasn’t Frank a white guy from Hoboken, New Jersey, the only child of Italian immigrants? Whatever next, an African American Charles Dickens?

Maybe if DiCaprio loses out to Foxx for the role of Sinatra he could audition for a role as, lets see, Muhammad Ali, Barack Obama or even Martin Luther King Jr?????

If Scorsese is looking for an actress to fill the role of the lady who figured big in the life of Ol’ Blue Eyes, the beautiful Grace Kelly, an excellent look a like, could be found in the talented star of Sunshine Cleaning, Amy Adams!
