Inside Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ Latest Feud

Temperamental actor Charlie Sheen has had it up to here with ex wife Denise Richards. After receiving the short end of the stick in court when requesting that his daughters be left out of a reality series, Sheen decided to fight back the only way he could: boycotting.

Last month a judge granted Richards permission to involve her children Sam, 3, and Lola, 2, in the soon-to-be-titled E! Television show which will document the starlet’s day to day as a working single mother in Hollywood. The highly anticipated program is being produced by Ryan Seacrest’s company and is slated to air sometime this summer.

On Wednesday evening during an Academy of TV gathering, Sheen half-jokingly announced to People – “I think we should all just boycott the damn thing! Issue a mass boycott.”

His costars on Two and a Half Men are speaking out as well. Jon Cryer, who portrays the neurotic brother, said that Charlie “seems to be resigned to it but I can’t imagine he’s thrilled.”

“I know he is appalled by it,” onscreen mother Holland Taylor affirmed. “I can’t quote him but I think everyone has been like ‘what?!’ Denise said something like “I asked the kids if they wanted to do it – they said yes.’ Well they’re two and three. I don’t think a two or three-year-old can decide whether they want to be on television or not. I don’t get it.” Tell the truth!

Despite the fact that he lost the battle, Charlie claims his aversion to the series hasn’t wavered: “You don’t go to court and make stands to prevent that if you don’t firmly believe it in.”

“The world is upside down sometimes,” he added referring to the judge’s decision.

On a lighter note, Sheen and his fiancée Brooke Mueller – who got engaged last July – have finally set a wedding date: “We’re going to do it this summer,” he explained. “Yes, we’re tired of this question.”

“You guys pressured us into it,” Mueller jested. “So here we go!”

Although Mr. Sheen is typically a difficult person to side with, I whole-heartedly agree with his opposition to the reality show. Like Holland Taylor stated, young children shouldn’t be dragged into the spotlight before their old enough to protest.
