It was not an especially merry Christmas for little Lindsay Lohan, as she once again found herself caught in the middle of some uber-disheartening family drama.

And unless you live in the muck or have mastered the art of paying no heed, you are least aware of the latest allegation that is rattling cages and causing waves.

Earlier this week the Labor Pains actress took to her MySpace blog to announce that her fame-hungry, slick & shoddy father Michael Lohan has another kid whom LiLo is only now finding out about. Back in June it was rumored that he had an illegitimate 13-year-old daughter named Ashley with ex mistress Christy Horn, which he adamantly denied, but according to Lindsay he has officially come clean.

“My father just let my family and [me] know, amongst other [things] that he had another child after my little sister Aliana,” the 22-year-old blogged on Wednesday. “Or maybe he had it before Aliana?? Either way, he cheated on my mother and that really sucks.”

Never one to let sleeping dogs lie, Michael fired back by blaming Samantha Ronson, going so far as to insinuate that she simply hopped on LL’s computer and rattled off the extremely personal post.

Hello, why would she want to screw things up for her faithful companion?

In addition to his rebuttal, Michael sent a forceful warning through People in an effort to silence the rampant rumor.

“If one more blog or statement is made people will know the entire truth,” he bellowed. “I will release e-mails, texts, depositions and audio tapes that will prove everything I have been saying all along. If Sam wants to play, I am ready. But she better be ready too!”

The solution to this tug-of-war? TAKE A PATERNITY TEST.
