DU I-Wish-I-Had-Hired-a-Driver

As if we haven’t heard enough celebrity DUI cases lately, here’s another one! Voluptuous tough-as-nails actress Vivica A Fox has recently entered the Hollywood hall of fame of drunk & disorderly conduct.

According to People magazine, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant was arrested last March (and they’re just now dealing with it) by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence. Fox, who sent her attorney to the Superior Court Thursday rather than attending herself, has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts (the second pertaining to her .08 blood-alcohol level stupor.)

After weaving in and out of traffic at 80 mph (in a 65 mph zone) on the Ventura Freeway in her 2007 Cadillac Escalade, she was pulled over by police (according to a CHP report.) Upon failing a series of sobriety tests (what a shock) the actress got a little bratty when the officers decided to arrest her.

“Fox began to walk away, yelling at my partner, ‘Brother, help a sister, are you going to let this racist white cop do this…well, are you?’” the report stated.

(Way to make sure you look as eloquent as possible, honey. Talk about the final nail in that particular coffin.)

The rest of the report went on to say that Fox continued to speak in a “condescending manner” as she was ushered into the patrol car. She has since admitted to regretting the incident. (Or at least how she handled it?)

If convicted, she could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine. “I won’t ever make that mistake again,” Fox told reporters in June. “Trust me, I’m going to hire a driver next time.”

Finally somebody said it, what a brilliant idea! It’s too bad Kiefer Sutherland wasn’t listening.
