The couple, John Sturgess and Kate Bosworth were finding the love making scene in the movie difficult to carry out in a convincing manor so Kate found the perfect remedy to battle her fear to shoot the intimate love scenes.

The couple decided to drink till they were so drunk that when they eventually did the scene, they were not able to remember that they shot the scene. But apparently even that didn’t quite work as their performance was ‘too sloppy’.

Kate said, “I don’t remember filming that scene. We were both so drunk. Jim and I became such good friends, we decided to have a couple of drinks, loosen up and go for it.” The film is about six students in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
