Well the latest news coming out of the whole Michael Jackson fiasco certainly has caused a huge Chain Reaction now it’s transpired that Diana Ross was named by the King of Pop in his will, as the second in line to his mother, as the carer of his three children should his mother be unable or unwilling to take on the responsibility following his death.

In a will signed by Jackson himself back in July 2002 the Thriller star stated, “If any of my children are minors at the time of my death, I nominate my mother, Katherine Jackson as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children. If Katherine Jackson fails tot survive me, or is unable or unwilling to act as guardian, I nominate Diana Ross as guardian of the persons and estates of such minor children,”

At 64 years old this probably comes as a slight shock to the Reach Out and Touch singer, unless she previously knew of the situation her long time friend Michael would be placing her in should he expire before Diana herself.
Already being the mother of five children, who are Rhonda Suzanne Silberstein born 1971, her daughter with music mogul Berry Gordy, next came Tracee Joy Silberstein born in 1972, Chudney Lane Silberstein born 1975, and then not content with three children from previous relationships, Ross went on to have 2 sons from her third marriage, to Arne Næss, the children being Ross Arne Næss who was born in 1987 and Evan Olav Næss born in 1988.

So all in all, Ms Ross would appear to be equally as well equipped in every way to care for another three children, with the exception of the passing of 21 years since her last encounter with child raising. Mrs Jackson is now 79 years old and raised nine children herself, with husband Joe Jackson, who is also rumored to have had an affair in 1974 that also resulted in the birth of a daughter.

The three children mentioned in Jackson’s will are, Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Michael Joseph Jackson II (better known as “Blanket”). The two elder children are assumed to be the biological off springs of Debbie Rowe, whom Jackson married 1996 and consequently divorced in 1999, at which point Jackson retained sole custody of their two children. The third child was born to Jackson by an unknown surrogate. Miss Rowe was deliberately omitted from Jackson’s will and is not expected to contest custody of any of the children.
