New York City was abuzz on Friday as Princess Diana’s youngest made the royal rounds on behalf of his family.

The highly-publicized occasion marked Prince Harry’s first official visit to the States, which has mainly been an ‘all work and no play’ expedition.

Friday’s stops were rather somber, starting with a trip to the World Trade Center where the handsome redhead conversed with relatives of 9/11 victims. Four-year-old Madison Murphy (pictured above), whose mother lost her husband on that fateful day, was right star struck when Harry crouched down to shake her hand. Lucky little lady!

Just a few months ago it seemed that the world’s tabloids and bloggers were waiting at the bottom of the guillotine, busy knitting, while awaiting the news that Patrick Swayze had passed.

But with the recent release of this photograph, that clearly shows Patrick, 56, and his wife Lisa Niemi, in happy place, accompanied by their dogs, the waiting was obviously pure speculation.

Yesterday saw California’s top court backing, what had been democratically voted on by the people in November 2008, and, in it’s infinite wisdom in a ‘democratic society‘, banned gay marriage.

That’s democracy at work! But democracy at work isn’t acceptable to wanna be celebrities like Perez Hilton, when it doesn’t tally with just what the obnoxious little blogger is striving for, legalized same sex marriage.

Like him of hate him no one can fail to be moved at the news of yet another sad chapter in the troubled life of Mike Tyson which now sees him losing his 4 year old daughter, Exodus, to a tragic domestic accident.
