It’s about time. I’ve never thought that Alice in Wonderland was much of a kids’ movie, what with it’s mushrooms, opium, and all-around acid-trip feeling, as a kid it kind of freaked me out. Which is why as an adult I’ve been waiting for a more mature-themed movie version to come along. And here it is, with none other than Tim Burton directing and Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter. It’s a match made in acid-trip heaven!
