I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – the girl has talent oozing from her fingertips. If only she could just get a handle on her public exploits.

You just can’t get a day without having to write something about Britney Spears.

Yesterday, Brit let her car run out of gas and had to be pushed down the street by Los Angeles police officers to a service station.

Poor ole’ Brit - she can’t seem to do anything right anymore.

In another ad for “Why Celebrities Shouldn’t Drive”: Spears was pulled over Saturday night for speeding on her way from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Spears told the officer that she was speeding because she was trying to flee the paparazzi. The officer let Britney off with a read more ....

Winehouse’s father-in-law is urging fans to boycott the London native’s music. Why, you ask? In an attempt to pull her out of her drug/alcohol saturated existence.

The problem? Just the tiny fact that the “Back to Black” singer’s career stems from her party-hardy image.

While Owen Wilson has requested privacy, the rest of the entertainment world is rushing to support the actor publicly.

“He’s loved,” Bernie Brillstein, a veteran Hollywood manager who worked with John Belushi and Chris Farley, said Tuesday (according to MSN). “It’s serious, but it’s a singular case. Anyone can have a bad day, a very bad day.”

According to the Associated Press, Hollywood insiders believe Owen “should continue to enjoy big-screen success.”

Wilson was reportedly doing well at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was taken from his Santa Monica home on Sunday night. Wilson was said to have read more ....

Extra has just confirmed that Owen Wilson was indeed hospitalized for a suicide attempt on Sunday. Somehow the news outlet managed to get hold of the police record of the 911 call that came from Owen’s house, where apparently he was found by his brother Luke Wilson after attempting to kill himself.

Owen began his career alongside Luke in the film Bottle Rocket, which he also wrote and created with director Wes Anderson. Since then he has been a widely acclaimed box office topping comedian. Rumor has it that Bree, Edie, Gabrielle, Lynette and Susan will have new neighbors this up-coming season of Desperate Housewives, and they’ll be flying their rainbow flag high.

Social services in California is FINALLY doing something about Britney Spears.

TMZ.com is reporting that Spears is being investigated for possible child abuse.

An unscheduled hearing was held today at L.A. County Superior Court. Present was Britney’s lawyer, Dennis Wasser, Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan and a lawyer from the Los Angeles County Counsel who is assigned to the dependency court.

We do not know the specifics of the allegations but we’re told the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is conducting an active investigation.

With the ‘tween and teen market spreading like wildfire and showing no signs of stopping, it’s only fair that they have an awards show, too. Yesterday, the crème de la crème of teen Hollywood (yes there is such a thing) met in LaLa Land for the Teen Choice Awards. The awards given out at this lavish (and alcohol-free, natch) event are for up-and-coming stars. The whole enterprise of course is to help win popularity among the younger fans that television studios and movie studios are so desperately targeting.

Things seem to have taken a serious turn for Scarlett Johannsen.

After once proclaiming that she wasn’t sure if she believed in monogamy, the Nanny Diaries star seems to be having no problem committing to new beau Ryan Reynolds.

Reportedly, Reynolds flew to Barcelona, Spain to be with Johannsen on the set of the untitled new Woody Allen project.

The couple has been seen all over Barcelona cooing, kissing and holding hands.

This past week Aniston went on vacation with David Arquette and Courteney Cox and their daughter, Coco.
