The current State Of Play in the Sean Penn, Robin Wright Penn marriage is now described as having ‘irreconcilable differences’.

After parting company in 2008 and reuniting shortly after that in an effort to give their 13 year marriage a second chance, the Hollywood couple have finally realized that the soufflé just wont rise twice.

Sean, 48, who was recently awarded an Oscar for his role in the biopic movie based on the murdered gay rights activist, Harvey Milk, Milk, has filed for divorce in the Marin County Superior Court in San Rafael, California.

Tom Hanks Incurs the Wrath of God…..Well…….Maybe Just The Vatican!

Posted under Free for All & Tom Hanks & dan brown

Once again the Vatican is feeling threatened by both the expert writing skills of author Dan Brown and the overwhelming acting prowess of Tom Hanks and is calling for Catholics, world wide, to boycott the latest blockbuster movie offering by Brown, Angels and Demons.

The Catholic Church was previously angered by Dan’s book The Da Vinci back in 2005, which suggested that Jesus may have been secretly married to Mary Magdalene and proceeded to track down the family tree. However, their disapproval at that time had little or no effect on the success of the movie when it’s box read more ....

Meg Ryan: Back in the Hollywood Fold???

Posted under Free for All & Bette Midler & Eva Mendes & Russell Crowe & Dennis Quaid & Meg Ryan & Tom Hanks & annette bening & candice bergen

the women.jpg

Its looking increasingly like Hollywood may just have forgiven Meg Ryan for her ‘error of judgment’ when she abandoned her actor husband, Dennis Quaid, in favour of her co star, Russell Crowe, in the 2000 movie Proof of Life, a film that was a critical and commercial flop. Not quite the reception Meg had received as the star of previous blockbusters, When Harry Met Sally, Sleepless in Seattle, French Kiss and You’ve Got Mail in which she starred with Tom Hanks.

Ryan’s tarnished reputation saw her relegated to ‘b rate movies such as Hanging Up and Kate & Leopold, read more ....

Ellen Degeneres Laughs in the Face of Mariah Carey!

Posted under Free for All & Paris Hilton & Mariah Carey & Ellen DeGeneres & Portia de Rossi & Pink & Tom Hanks & Benji Madden

Initially annoyed by the, 2 hour, late arrival of Mariah Carey to her show, Ellen Degeneres, in her own carefree manner turned the ignorant behaviour of Carey around to her own advantage.

How? By wearing all the ridiculous gifts the over rated song bird brought to the show to celebrate Ellen’s 50th ‘anniversary’.

Don’t we just love Ellen and despise the wicked witch of the East?

Ellen hosted a party Saturday night which included 600 well-wishers which included Janet Jackson, Tom Hanks, Allison Janney, Ray Romano, Joely Fisher, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Paris Hilton and sister Nicky Hilton read more ....

Will We Be Deprived of the Golden Globes Due to Pesky Writers?

Posted under Free for All & Reese Witherspoon & Sienna Miller & Angelina Jolie & Keira Knightly & George Clooney & Rumer Willis & Cate Blanchett & Johnny Depp & Cameron Diaz & Tom Hanks

Could it be possible that we may actually not get to watch the creme de la creme of Hollywood elite congratulate each other for being so darn special? All thanks to a bunch of pesky writers who actually think they should get PAID for their work?

golden_globes2007.jpg

Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Sienna Miller last year on the red carpet (dig those braids Sienna!)

Unless someone comes up with a solution at the 11th hour, it’s hard to imagine any of the high-wattage nominees crossing an actual picket line in their most glamorous finery. That’s just such a party foul.
