On Friday Lindsay Lohan - who recently returned to sunny Los Angeles after frolicking on the beaches of Los Cabos with Samantha Ronson - swooped in and saved the DJ from having to sit through yet another mind-numbing court hearing which would have made Monday morning twice as unpleasant.

For those who have permanently blocked out the horror that was 2007, Ronson sued Perez Hilton for implying that she was the rightful owner of the cocaine discovered in LiLo’s vehicle after her May collision.

Since making it known to the world that, yes, she is in fact dating Samantha Ronson, and they’re more than “just friends,” Lindsay Lohan has some words for her father who’s been, shall we say, less than supportive of Lindsay in general, and of Samantha in particular, saying Sam was, “dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity.”

It’s been a week of revelations and comings-out. Lindsay Lohan revealed to Loveline that she and Samantha Ronson have been dating for quite some time, meanwhile Clay Aiken finally just admitted it already in a big coming out piece on the cover of People.

No one had really been questioning the fact that Clay was closeted, but he’d never just say it. But according to the cover of the magazine, his new baby boy has inspired honesty: “I cannot raise a child to lie or hide things,” he said.

Either adoring girlfriend Samantha Ronson helped LiLo weigh in on this decision, or the Ugly Betty actress simply has taste.

The 22-year-old has declined cradle-robber Hugh Hefner’s offer to participate in an eight-page topless spread in Playboy’s 55^th-anniversary issue.

Access Hollywood reports that the magazine’s creative consultant Hal Lifson said the theme for the shoot would have been 60s sex symbol Ann-Margaret and her flick Kitten with a Whip. Though Lindsay Lohan happens to be a fan of the pulpy picture, she has nil interest in baring her bosom at this point in her career.

While we originally thought that Samantha Ronson was a good influence on La Lohan, fresh reports have regrettably forced us to reevaluate the situation.

Over the weekend the thrice-rehabbed artiste accompanied her girlfriend to the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago where they met up with Samantha’s brother, Mark Ronson, who was deejaying at the Rock the Vote Nights event.

No harm there, except that witnesses informed the New York Daily News that the lovers held their own little private party underneath a table near Mark’s feet - meaning Lindsay was caught drinking!
