Former Hole frontwoman - and current solo artist - Courtney Love had a painful weekend as she checked into L.A.’s Cedars Sinai hospital due to chest & throat discomfort.

According to her spokesperson, the 43-year-old mother of one was diagnosed with strep throat after getting poked & prodded by doctors in the wee hours of the a.m. What’s more, she was supposedly forced to see a psychiatrist after being quizzed on her habitual drug use.

While thespians are known for their eccentricities, this one goes a little too far. Ryan Gosling aka the humble hunk from The Notebook recently confessed to forming a “connection” with a silicone sex doll. What exactly is a straight-laced Mormon doing with such a creation? So what if he did? There’s speculation that cutie Ryan Gosling (not to mention vet-Mouseketeer), who starred in The Notebook, got a teeny taste of the old nip and a tuck.
