Filmed in a less than exciting sepia effect, apart from Renee Zellwegger’s scarlet lip stick which is the only bright spot in the movie, this film, from the outset delivers a script which is as transparent as Saran-Wrap and although billed as a romantic comedy falls short on both fronts. With all the adoration felt for George Clooney there is nothing good to be said of his personally directed movie Leatherheads except that the sooner as it goes to DVD and leaves the movie theaters the better.
