On the day the world mourned and remembered the death of the musical icon, Michael Jackson, across the Atlantic in the United Kingdom, Prince Charles today led another tear jerking ceremony that paid tribute to the 52 victims of the July 7th 2005 London bombings.

Is the handsome young British Prince Harry about to follow in his father’s footsteps as he reveals to a friend, ‘I lost the best thing that ever happened to me and I’m paying for it,’ as he lets Chelsy Davy slip through his hands?

Harry’s father, Prince Charles, let the woman he loved, Camilla Parker Bowles, slip through his hands many years ago and eventually entered into a loveless marriage with Princess Diana only to realize too late that the real love of his life was Camilla.

Even under a grey cloudy sky and amidst all the doom and gloom being brought about by the misadministration of Great Britain by Gordon Brown’s Labour party, the people of the United Kingdom were seen today to be united as one proud nation as they turned out to celebrate the 83rd birthday of Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II.

The President of the United States, Barack Obama was invited to the home of Queen Elizabeth II yesterday, Buckingham Palace, in London and as is the usual protocol Obama arrived with a gift in hand. An iPod!

On all accounts the British Monarch already has a six-gigabyte silver model iPod purchased for a mere 169 pounds, as suggested by her grandson Prince William, 3 years ago!

So in the next few days keep a watch on Ebay, Swaptree and Barter Place , the multi-media swapping sites, you could pick up an iPod at a bargain price.

Prince Edward Should Have That Stick Poked Up His……

edward and dogs 1.jpg

The British public look set to ‘stick it’ to Prince Edward, Queen Elizabeth II’s youngest child, as he was caught on camera hitting his trusty black Labrador Retriever gundogs with a stick as he hunted in a field by himself on the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. Not content with killing birds, the seventh in line to the throne of the Royal British family, went on to beat his canine companions.

qe2.jpgWhat has become of the traditional Christmas day in the United Kingdom?

For the past 5 decades, we have all embraced that 3.00 pm slot in our Christmas day television viewing, that is given over to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Like her or hate her, it is a tradition in most homes to watch the Queen’s unbiased, non political message of hope to her subjects.

But this year, Channel 4 has decided to show a pre recorded alternative to The Queen’s speech from no less than, Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Queen Elizabeth II Will Not Be Amused!

Posted under Free for All & Paris Hilton & Kate Middleton & Princess Diana & Queen Elizabeth II & Prince William & Prince Harry & Sarah Ferguson

chelsy.jpg

Chelsy shows her royal skills!

As is her wont, the Queen of England, Queen Elizabeth II passes her opinion on just about all the acquaintances, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands or wives of all four of her royal off spring. As we saw with her eventual dislike of Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson and later Camilla Parker Bowles, Ma’am can very often make or break a relationship.

Of late Queenie has had a bit of a gripe about Prince William’s girlfriend, Kate Middleton, asking the question, what exactly is her line of work and suggesting she make herself useful in read more ....

From Pharaoh to Paranoia: Mohamed Al Fayed

Posted under Free for All & Princess Diana & Prince Philip & Queen Elizabeth II & Mohamed Al Fayed

 fayed.jpg

The man who, on occasions has been seen playing the fool either dressed as a Pharaoh or while putting himself under fire from the comic interviewer, Ali G, AKA Sasha Baron Cohen, is in fact a monster in disguise.

We could be lead to believe that this man’s rantings about the conspiracy that killed his son Dodi Al Fayed and Princess Diana were born out of grief for his dead son. But not so.

Mohamed Al Fayed has been prone to a life of falsehoods and lies from the get go, finding it hard to distinguish between fantasy and read more ....

Bank Job: Blunder of Brilliant?

bank job 1.jpg

When the Brits make a film, they really make a film! Take Four Weddings and A Funeral with Hugh Grant, made on a shoe string but grossing millions at the box office. Then there was Nottinghill again with Hugh and his love interest Julia Roberts and the Full Monty starring Robert Carlyle. But now there’s an English nugget that shouldn’t be missed, Bank Job. If the Americans, and more precisely New Yorkers think they have a scandal unraveling before their very eyes in the misappropriate behaviour of ex Governor Eliot Spitzer, then take a look at what the British read more ....

 An officer and a gentleman!

Gone are the days of the playboy Prince, Prince Andrew, but he still commands quite a dashing figure even when under fire from a US CNN reporter.

At the end of his 10 day tour of the United States, Prince Andrew, 47, took time to visit Atlanta, Georgia, and with his entourage spent time at the CNN studios where he answered questions about his remarks last week regarding the US’s invasion of Iraq.

Two weeks ago the Prince suggested that the US could have learned some lessons from England on aggressive behaviour and read more ....
