Yesterday we were invited to share in the ’euphoric’ news that Matthew McConaughey and his 22 year old Brazilian girlfriend, Camila Alves had reached a milestone in their ‘one year’ relationship with the announcement of a pending birth and today we’re all down in the doldrums again with the knowledge that Eddie Murphy’s two week old ‘marriage’ to Tracey Edmonds has folded.

Following their oh so romantic, symbolic union on the tropical island of Bora Bora the couple have decided to just remain ‘good friends.’ Couldn’t they have figured out two weeks ago that they were ‘just good friends?’

So tells us Zac, where does it hurt?

The teen heartthrob star of High School Musical, one, two, three, four, five……..Zac Efron, was hospitalized on Tuesday with abdominal pains and later went into surgery to have his appendix removed.

Efron, 20, who has recently signed for a third installment of High School Musical was shooting the feature Seventeen with Matthew Perry.

Zac was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre following the emergency surgery and is said to be recuperating.

Britney Spears has made another appearance in front of a large audience with flashing red, white and blue lights last night at her gated Hollywood community, and all impromptu!

The crowd consisted of several local law enforcement officers chauffeured to the ‘gig’ in 6 police cars, a group of excited fire fighters and a few ambulance drivers. The lights were supplied by their ‘twos and blues’ where Britney’s performance was said to have been enhanced by an ‘unknown substance.’ And to top it all off, her two young sons Jaydan and Sean were present to witness the ‘show’.

So its not ALL going on in Iowa tonight! There’s been a bit of excitement in Beverly Hills too! And would you believe its been at the Spear’s household, again?

Britney was reportedly scheduled to have her sons, Sean Preston and Jaydan James tonight until 7:00 PM, so one can only assume she didn’t want to hand the little darlings back to old Kev.

JK Rowling has confessed to having ‘weak moments’ when she considers writing yet another Harry Potter book in the hugely popular series that has seen her producing seven novels to date and becoming the first billionaire author.

Most of us consider a ‘weak moment’ when the Hagan Daz in the freezer box, or that unfinished carrot cake calls to us in the middle of the night. Not exactly the stuff that millions of pounds (only LBS) are made of. If only my weak moments consisted of the ability to make another billion by putting pen to paper!
