Top Ten Comedies of 2007

2007 supplied moviegoers with a wonderful selection of comedies to feast our eyes and ears on. Although there were a few duds in the bunch, several releases more than made up for those run of the mill snooze-fests.

1. The Simpsons Movie – all I can say is finally! This brilliant feature-length adventure marks 20 years of non-stop laughs by America’s favorite Springfield family.

2007 was a year of celebrity d-r-a-m-a and pregnancies. Isn’t that just the bestest combo ever?! Yeah, I didn’t think so either. But as the year comes to an end (and I’m kinda over all the sluts and a$$es from Britney Spears to Ashley Tisdale…), I’d like to keep my hopes and aspirations a-glow for some oldie but goodie clelebrities from the past. 1. Pushing Daisies
A show for people who like to think when they watch TV. With every line item perfectly in synch every week the pull off an almost movie instead of episodic TV each Wednesday. Dumb people beware: you won’t get it.

2. Mad Men
Such an exact portrait of the 1960’s in New York. From the treatment of secretaries to the copious smoking and drinking in the office. TV perfection.

3. Lost
