September 14th 2009 was a yet another sad day for the world of celebrity as the hunky Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze succumbs to the complications associated with pancreatic cancer.

This year has seen the demise of so many iconic celebrity figures, Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Bea Arthur, David Carradine, Ed McMahn, Dominick Dunne, Edward Kennedy, Carl Malden, Natasha Richardson, Walter Kronkite and of course the UK’s Wendy Richards and Jade Goody.

But for fans of Swayze it has all ended too soon, at the age of just 57.

The sadness and sorrow is etched across the face of recently bereaved Liam Neeson as he visit’s the sun soaked paradise of St Tropez, where he and his wife Natasha Richardson spent so many happy times.

Liam took his two sons, Michael and Daniel to the south of France for the Easter break but it clearly did nothing to raise his spirits following the death of Natasha last month in a skiing tragedy in Canada.

We’ve seen several of our favourite celebrities facing adverse conditions of late, Liam Neeson losing his wife, Natasha Richardson, to a skiing accident, Patrick Swayze fighting cancer, Jade Goody losing her battle to cancer and now we’re seeing the beautiful Farrah Fawcett in a battle for her life.

At 62 years of age, the former Charlie’s Angel star has taken her battle to Germany where she has hopefully received treatment that will finally rid her of the awful disease.

While her husband, Liam Neeson filmed his latest movie Chloe in Toronto, Natasha Richardson took herself off to a ski resort in Quebec where she is now reported to have had an accident yesterday afternoon as she took a skiing lesson.

The daughter of Vanessa Redgrave, Natasha, was skiing without a helmet, and although helmets are not compulsory the resort does advise wearing one.

Following her fall Natasha, 45, signed a form to say she didn’t feel she needed medical assistance and returned to her hotel where sometime later she suffered headaches and according to local reports, was given emergency read more ....
