And the Oscar Goes to……Michelle Obama’s Kids?

Here we go! Barack Obama’s, until recently unknown kids, have been offered starring roles alongside Miley Cyrus in the Hannah Montana TV programme.

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Billy Ray Cyrus, opened up his aky breaky heart to reveal, “They probably will. The invitation is there. You know the ‘Hannah Montana’ film comes out in April. Maybe something might happen around then.”
Malia Obama, 10, and Sasha Obama, seven, could take part in an episode of the Disney Channel show around April next year, so by January 2010 we should see a proud Michelle Obama attending the Oscar read more ....

Politcal Figures Equal Celeb’s Popularity: Barack Obama & Barbra Streisand!

Politicians are the new celebrities. At least until November. Barbra Streisand may have performed at Barack Obama’s most recent fundraiser and stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Ferrell may have been in attendance but all eyes seem to be on those running for office.

They’ve been taking over primetime TV and even pushing A-listers off covers of magazines. Sarah Palin, for example, gave her first interview to People magazine, and the same tabloid rated Michelle Obama eighth best dressed.
In earlier campaign ads, McCain called Obama “the biggest celebrity in the world” and associated him with Britney Spears and Paris read more ....
