Gold medal winner, Misty May-Treanor has a new obsession: ballroom dancing. The athlete, who won back-to-back gold medals in Beijing for beach volleyball is one of the newest contestants on Dancing With the Stars, and she says when she wakes up each morning, she can’t wait to get back to the ballroom.

Every time I wake up, it’s like I can’t wait to dance,” the Olympian says after wrapping a three-hour rehearsal at a dance studio. “I can’t wait to get back in there to see if things soaked in overnight.”

Having been a member one of the biggest girl bands of all times, The Spice Girls, Melanie C is now joining the ‘baby band‘.

As the only Spice Girl to date not to have reproduced, Melanie Chisholm has now announced that she will add her own spice baby to the list of spice spawning.

In an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Capital Radio, the skinny Spice Girl - the one with the basin shaped hair cut and the lips that pout almost as consistently as Angelina Jolie’s - seems to think she has found herself a vocation in life. She told Ryan, ‘Geri Halliwell and Mel B both like to be in charge,’ then Posh went on to describe her role in the all girl 90’s group The Spice Girls, saying, ‘I’m a bit of a bookend.’

The Spice Girl’s Single wouldn’t make a good ‘B’ Side. That’s the verdict of the big chiefs at the BBC in the UK who have slammed the single as, ‘not strong enough’ and consequently have been giving it very air time resulting in sales of just 5,278 to date.
