Big week for Ms. Spears - first her flattering OK! cover, now news that - in spite of what EVERYONE deemed a horrific performance at last years’ MTV VMAs - the star is getting another chance to be crowned pop’s princess by the same network.

Doesn’t it just break your heart??

As promised last Tuesday, Brit-Brit spent an entire 12 hours snuggling and playing with her two sons Saturday evening in the comfort of her Los Angeles home.

E! News happily confirmed the pajama party, which commemorated the singer’s first overnight visit since she lost that particular privilege following her trip to the UCLA psych ward on January 3^rd.

Bring on the Spongebob Squarepants DVDs and Tonka Trucks as Britney Spears was granted overnight visitation with her boys!

Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 21 months, are set to spend Saturday evening in the care of their mother thanks to Tuesday’s closed-door hearing at the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Present at the hush-hush meeting was Britney’s parenting coach, who made declarations before the court, and undoubtedly helped the recovering singer look good.

Details have not officially been released, but sources told TMZ.com and People that Commissioner Scott Gordon approved the overnight request.

Just as a full moon tends to wreak havoc on our nervous systems, Friday the 13^th has a way of manifesting bizarre happenings; this year was no different.

On Tuesday morning A-Lister parents Britney Spears & Kevin Federline delighted the paparazzi by attending an L.A. family court hearing in order to run through a progress review.

The “Cold as Fire” singer shocked and awed bystanders after arriving a whole half-hour early with her mother Lynne Spears, father Jamie and attorney Blair Birk.

Looking like he raided Justin Timberlake’s lavish closet, Kevin Federline set foot in Pure Nightclub on Friday night wearing a trendy grey suit to celebrate his 30^th b-day in style.
