September 14th 2009 was a yet another sad day for the world of celebrity as the hunky Dirty Dancing star Patrick Swayze succumbs to the complications associated with pancreatic cancer.

This year has seen the demise of so many iconic celebrity figures, Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Bea Arthur, David Carradine, Ed McMahn, Dominick Dunne, Edward Kennedy, Carl Malden, Natasha Richardson, Walter Kronkite and of course the UK’s Wendy Richards and Jade Goody.

But for fans of Swayze it has all ended too soon, at the age of just 57.

The White House has released the official photographic portrait of the First Dog, and at this point we’ll resist stating the obvious as we’re not big on public apologies here at Yuddy!!!!

So, following the myriad of photos we have had to endure of Michelle Obama, Sasha and Malia, along with the sight of Barack Obama on our TV screens day and night, we now have to feast our eyes on the latest member of the Obama family, Bo, the Portuguese water dog adopted by the first family.

There’s yet another black attack dog in The White House!

Yes, before anyone jumps to conclusions, George W Bush had a black-haired Scottish terrier named Barney who was accused of attacking a reporter while residing in The White House!

And now, Barack Obama has kept his promise (well part of it, he didn’t actually acquire his new dog from a shelter as he professed he would during the November elections) and bestowed a thoroughbred 6 month old Portuguese water dog upon his two daughters, Malia and Sasha, donated to the family by millionaire (well, that’s close enough to a read more ....
