Changing a tried and tested formula has proved the undoing of the not only much loved, and usually well attended, Glastonbury Festival, with American rapper, and husband of Dreamgirls star Beyonce, Jay Z, heading the bill, but it has also caused other celebrities to think twice about attending.

Madonna had made plans to make Glastonbury the premiere of her documentary I Am Because We Are to be held at a summer music festival, after tickets for the event failed to sell. 2007 was a year of celebrity d-r-a-m-a and pregnancies. Isn’t that just the bestest combo ever?! Yeah, I didn’t think so either. But as the year comes to an end (and I’m kinda over all the sluts and a$$es from Britney Spears to Ashley Tisdale…), I’d like to keep my hopes and aspirations a-glow for some oldie but goodie clelebrities from the past.
