I said it before and I’ll say it again - how hard is it to hire a driver? O.C. alum Mischa Barton joined the DUI Club Thursday morning after being arrested in West Hollywood. Authorities gave People the skinny on their unfortunate 2:46am encounter with the star that led to her spending a night in jail.

Pop quiz: What do Vivica A Fox, Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, and Mischa Barton have in common?

Barton had alcohol in her system at the time of arrest (Fox).

She was found with possession of illegal narcotics (Lohan).

Mischa Barton clearly is not a quick learner even after witnessing several of her peers such as Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Richie being arrested for exactly the same charges that have now been levied against her. She is the latest celebrity to think that driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs is okay.

Added to the DUI, Miss Barton also has added the charge of not actually possessing a driving license.

- A MILLION dollars on bills from the Chateau Marmont Hotel, her former “drug den” and where she used to stay
- $137,000 in rehab costs as she’s been in treatment three times these past nine months
- THOUSANDS more in legal fees after multiple DUI convictions
- Almost a million on bodyguards and chauffeurs

If you happened to be an innocent pedestrian strolling the streets of LA last night you may have witnessed Orlando Bloom pummeling into a parked car, leaving passengers injured and trying to walk away. Apparently the actor was caught by a variety of cameras that night, drinking and partying until the early morning. Bloom was driving a black Matrix that was registered to the director of photography of Pirates of The Carribbean which struck a Porsche around 2:15am.

It seems that although Orlando was caught partying and seemed pretty “out of it” at the scene police didn’t feel it was read more ....
