A red carpet event, the Alma Awards, were underway last night, with host Eva Longoria announcing the winners of the awards, and making a bunch of costume changes, too.

The Latino honors won’t be available for your viewing pleasure until September 12th on ABC. Does that seem weird to anyone, especially since the winners were revealed to the public - seems like they’re not creating much incentive for viewers to tune in!

High School Musical starlet Vanessa Hudgens - who is currently dating alleged Stinky Boy, Zac Efron - supplied preteen fans with dependable advice on romance and sex in the July/August issue of Cosmo Girl!

Sounds like High School Musical stud Zac Efron is more of a stinky boy than a “pretty boy.”

According to an article in the latest issue of Star magazine, the 20-year-old meterosexual has a nauseatingly nasty habit of going “days” without washing.

“Zac isn’t a big fan of showering,” an on-set insider revealed. “It’s so gross, because Zac loves to work out and plays basketball all the time…”

What’s more, the source claims that when Efron gets extra sluggish, “…he likes to clean himself with baby wipes.”

So tells us Zac, where does it hurt?

The teen heartthrob star of High School Musical, one, two, three, four, five……..Zac Efron, was hospitalized on Tuesday with abdominal pains and later went into surgery to have his appendix removed.

Efron, 20, who has recently signed for a third installment of High School Musical was shooting the feature Seventeen with Matthew Perry.

Zac was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre following the emergency surgery and is said to be recuperating.

Kevin Federline is the cover boy for this month’s Details Magazine – the power issue.

Proving that getting out of a marriage with Britney Spears and cashing a hefty alimony check every month is something to celebrate, Federline comes in seventh on the mag’s “50 Most Influential Men under 45.”

Disney’s little money-making mini-muguls (Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Miley Cyrus, Hilary Duff, Shia LaBoeuf et al) scored the number one spot on the list but apparantley weren’t exciting enough for a cover shot.
