2007 was a year of celebrity d-r-a-m-a and pregnancies. Isn’t that just the bestest combo ever?! Yeah, I didn’t think so either. But as the year comes to an end (and I’m kinda over all the sluts and a$$es from Britney Spears to Ashley Tisdale…), I’d like to keep my hopes and aspirations a-glow for some oldie but goodie clelebrities from the past. Legendary singer and entertainer Robert Goulet died today at the tender age of 73. He was waiting for a lung transplant after being diagnosed with a rare form of pulmonary fibrosis in September, says the Hollywood Reporter. The crooner passed away at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Celebrity favorite, Will Ferrell, does a priceless impression of Goulet - it seems like a fitting tribute to Robert to include a clip here.

Rest in peace, Robert… the world will miss you!

Saturday Night Live funnyman Will Ferrell recently displayed a softer, more conscientious side of him we never knew existed.

The actor auctioned off a cameo role in his new film Step Brothers to raise money for fellow University of Southern California alum Craig Pollard’s Cancer for College foundation.

According to yahoo.com Ferrell came up with the idea as a way to motivate donations, and it definitely worked. “We are overwhelmed with the response and generosity to the auction,” Ferrell said. “This money will help so many young people with their dreams of attending college.”
