Just when you thought the Hollywood Foreign Press was going to ultimately snub NBC’s 30 Rock they took home the most prestigious award they were nominated for, Best Comedy Series.

The high brow underrated show is arguably one of the best shows on television that no one is watching. Now, Tina Fey’s creation will thrive on the Thursday night line-up and hopefully get quite a ratings boost from the unexpected win.

Sesame Street, the beloved children’s show featuring a goofy yellow bird, a blue monster that attacks cookies like it’s his job, and a furry red kid-like character who loves to get tickled, has officially begun its 38^th (the original show aired in 1969) season this morning!
