Is The Entire R&B World on Steroids?

Posted under Free for All & music & Timbaland & Mary J Blige & 50 Cent

This really explains a lot: The Times Union of Albany is reporting that “the names of R&B music star Mary J Blige, along with rap artists 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean, and award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry, have emerged in an Albany-based investigation of steroids trafficking that has already rocked the professional sports world, according to confidential sources.”

And you thought they were just pissed off and shooting at each other for record sales! Come to think of it, Blige has looked a little pumped lately.

The Day The Music Died

Last night’s VMA’s left us wondering where pop music has gone and if it will ever return.

Britney Spears decided in one of the most anticipated performances MTV’s Video Music Awards history to half-ass her way through mediocre dance moves personifying a hopeless stripper with a cheap buzz.

The truth is maybe the state of the world cannot facilitate what Britney usually brings the table. The 90’s are a thing of the past - a decade in search of a light at the end of the grunge tunnel. The death of Kurt Cobain left a cavernous hole in the music read more ....

Is Britney on the Right or Wrong Bare Foot?

Posted under Free for All & celebrities & music & Britney Spears & Perez Hilton & Timbaland

Britney Spears just yesterday was our comeback hero. Unfortunately it seems no matter how many good singles drop for the troubled pop tart that Britney will always be Britney.

Word came late last night that Spears intended on bailing out of her Vegas LAX opening gig for which she was paid quite a bit of money. Perez Hilton reported that the star intended on canceling because “she just felt like it.”

Living up to the persona she has tried so hard to escape, Brit Brit didn’t fall short of her flaky reputation. It was in fact just last week read more ....

Will Brit Rock Next Week?

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Britney Spears is set to release the first single off her fifth studio album as soon as next week.

Shizz. I can’t wait to hear this mess-terpiece.

Two of the alleged tracks were leaked to PerezHilton.com last week – and they were unlistenable mélanges of angst and insanity.

A source at Jive Records says the single is called ‘’Gimme More,'’ an up-tempo club cut produced by Timbaland protégé Nate ‘’Danjahandz'’ Hills. ‘’Gimme More'’ was also the name of the music video that Spears was spotted shooting in July at a Los Angeles nightclub.

Britney’s Umbrella

Posted under Free for All & Britney Spears & Timbaland

brit_umbrella.jpg

Music producer Tricky Stewart has just revealed the truth about Rihanna’s summer hit “Umbrella” - which now has developed that Natalie Imbruglia “Torn” syndrome where you may just may jump off a ledge if you hear it one more time. But that only means one thing: Rihanna made an obscene amount of money on the single. Not only that, but it launched the nineteen-year-olds career into superstardom practically out of nowhere. She broke records with the single when it stayed at number 1 for 10 consecutive weeks.

But Tricky has come forward recently and revealed that the track was originally read more ....
