Bernie Mac Exits Stage Left for the Final Time

“America, I heard your prayers, and you wanted me here. The Mac Man cometh, and I’m bringing hell with me.”

Tell-it-like-it-is Actor/comedian Bernie Mac who has been battling a rare autoimmune disease called sarcoidosis which causes inflammation in tissue, died on Saturday at the age of 50.

“[He] passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia in a Chicago area hospital,” rep Danica Smith told People. “No other details are available at this time. We ask that his family’s privacy continues to be respected.”

Its ‘The Final Cut’ for Robin Williams!

It seems the laughing has ended in the home of Robin Williams as the Man of the Year star is obviously no longer Marsha Garces’s man of the year. After 18 years of marriage to the gibbering funny man, she is throwing the sponge in on the marriage as she filed a divorce petition in San Francisco on March 21st seeking to end her marriage to Williams on the grounds of irreconcilable differences.

Stars and Snacks on the Picket Line

The soon to be infamous strike between the WGA and AMPTP is now into it’s fifth day, ladies and gents. Here’s a question for all of you though, have we really seen any big names in Hollywood come out to support the writers that support them? So far, we’ve seen a few, such as Eva Longoria who handed out pizzas to the writers and Jay Leno who bought donuts. What good will snacks do? Are the celebrities really trying to buy the writers back with fatty foods? Lame!
