Telling Ryan Seacrest yesterday on his KIIS-FM radio show that there’s a special someone in her life, the Georgia Rule star celebrated her 22nd birthday in the company of her special someone, Samantha.

Friday saw the California Supreme Court ruling that the California Constitution now gives gays the lesbians the right to marry and who was there to pop the question first, Ellen DeGeneres. It was great news coming out of California this week for the gay and lesbian community when it was announced that gay marriages are now legal in that state, well at least in 30 days time they will be! And what was even better news was that the gorgeous Mayor of San Francisco, Gavin Newsom, who announced it to the press, isn’t gay himself! Phew!

Apparently Ellen DeGeneres didn’t realize that she would be attacked by a pet adoption agency for giving away one of her pets. The talk show host gave the rescued mutt to a friend whose family was in search of a dog. The agency is claiming that Ellen was supposed to give the dog back to the agency if she decided not to keep it so THEY could place it with a new family.
