O.C. alumna Mischa Barton - who spent time in the drunk tank last December - has decided to plead “no contest” in her DUI case in order to skip out on hardcore jail time.
As a refresher, the 22-year-old previously acquired the following charges for her little slipup…

- One misdemeanor count of driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.08% or higher
- One count of being an unlicensed driver
- One misdemeanor count of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol
- One count of possession of marijuana, 28.5 grams or less

Puff Daddy or Diddy or whatever he’s going by these days has decided to invest in a chauffeur service to stop stars from drinking & driving, reports The New Zealand Herald.

We’re well aware of the craziness that ensues at those high-profile celebrity events, and according to Diddy’s spokesperson, “after partnering with Ciroc vodka, he wants to make sure everyone’s partying responsibly.” I’m sure his mother would be proud.

The rapper’s incentive for creating the in-the-works assistance? “Making sure nobody gets arrested!”

Unbeknownst to the prying eyes of the paparazzi, Mischa Barton has been secretly dating the director of her new film The Assassination of a High School Resident, Brett Simon.

An insider - who recently slipped the juicy details to The Daily Mail - claims the “major love affair” has been brewing for months and has become so intoxicating that the lovebirds are considering an engagement.

Mischa Barton is finally talking after her DUI arrest last month.

“Obviously I’m 100 percent responsible for my actions in this case,” Barton, 21, told Ryan Seacrest’s L.A. radio show. “I’m really disappointed in myself. I don’t know what to say about it, except that I’m not perfect, and I just don’t ever intend to do something this stupid again.”

The former star of The O.C. was arrested on December 27th.
