During an interview on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Wednesday morning, the country bumpkin let slip the inspiration behind her newest single “7 Things”: an ex BF!

Though Miley refused to rat out her muse, she suspects the he may step forward on his own once the music video is released, “because it’s pretty honest…even more honest than my song,” she said.

For those millions of fans out there who cried when 17-year-old David Archuleta became a “runner-up,” to winner David Cook, dry your eyes because this young man is just getting warmed up.

On top of hitting the road in July for the American Idols Live! Tour alongside his fellow contestants, the talented crooner is set to release a “major-label debut” later on this year, according to a post on the company’s website.

Miley Cyrus - who once labeled those infamous MySpace pics as “…not a big deal” - will soon discover that her innocent justifications no longer hold up in the eyes of her fans, or in a court of law.

Posing “provocatively” for the May issue of Vanity Fair was one thing, intimately cuddling a young man atop a couch was another, but this new set of snapshots is in a whole other ballpark.

15-year-old Miley Cyrus is branching out…sort of.

We first witnessed her taking a stab at freedom with the Vanity Fair shoot, and now she is planning on releasing a full-length album under her own name; courtesy of Hollywood Records.   Gone is the Hanna Montana “alter ego,” which has the potential to delight or pi$$ off her bevy of loyal followers.

And although Miley is aiming to make a name for herself, the music she has chosen to represent this whole new side is acutely similar to that of her Disney kid-friendly bubblegum Pop.

Singer/actress Miley Cyrus is growing up fast…maybe too fast.

On Tuesday the 15-year-old star dropped her new single “7 Things,” a song about a particularly distressing breakup, which debuted on radio program Elvis Duran and the Morning Zoo.

Cyrus sounds like a slightly-more conventional version of Avril Lavigne as she runs through a list of every irritating aspect of her ex BF: “You’re vain, your games, you’re insecure, you love me, you like her, you make me laugh you make me cry…and the 7^th thing I hate the most that you do, you make me love you.”

Once again the internet has sparked controversy by leaking several scandalous photos of 15-year-old Miley Cyrus.

Although some have speculated that the girl in the shots is actually a look-alike, you can definitely tell it’s the Disney star by that humungous grin. Her unique pearly whites would be quite difficult to copy, let alone her lips.

Billy Ray Cyrus aka Hannah Montana’s papa went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Tuesday morning to counter rumors of a La Lohan ban, reports people.com.

The former American Idol host dove right in per usual by dredging up Grammy gossip. While attending the renowned event, Miley Cyrus was introduced to Lindsay Lohan and by the end of the evening the girls decided to trade digits. The story goes that after Mr. Ray took a peak at his daughter’s cell phone, he promptly erased the starlet’s number.
