Sorry Hannah Montana Fans!

Hannah Montana posing with her daddy, Billy Ray Cyrus…so sickening!

It isn’t easy to explain a teen phenomenon. In fact the best way to communicate what High School Musical, Zac Efron, and Hannah Montana mean to teenage girls is through a loud shriek that most humans are unable to hear.

Fortunately ticket sales and merchandising can communicate popularity for us.

As the jabbering text messages spread through Sidekicks like wild fire, it appears that fresh faced (or altered-faced) teens have taken over the box office, the music industry, and the web.

Tasty Tidbit: Hannah’s Extending Her Tour

Posted under Free for All & Miley Cyrus & Tasty Tidbits

hannah_montana_tour.jpgÂ

Yes, all you crazed Hannah Montana fans out there (aka Miley Cyrus)…E! News reported that the tween sensation is extending her US tour starting next month! Yippie! (more like gag me with a spoon…)

Hannah must’ve made every little girl and sexual-orientation challenged boy out there super happy when she announced that an additional 14 dates will be added to her already “popular” tour. This must be in response to allegations of the little brat being sued for an unhappy and spolied fan-base.

Tasty Tidbit: Hannah’s In Trouble…Again

Posted under Free for All & Miley Cyrus & Tasty Tidbits

Miley Cyrus, aka Hannah Montana, made the list of toxic toys recently. Her card game case was among many others that were seen as a danger this holiday season.

Of the 1,268 items tested, 23 were among millions of toys recalled this year.

Mattel Inc. recalled more than 21 million Chinese-made toys on fears they were tainted with lead paint and tiny magnets that children could accidentally swallow. Mattel’s own tests on the toys found that they had lead levels up to 200 times the accepted limit, reports Yahoo! News.

Why are toys being made with such dangerous materials? Someone read more ....

Oh, say it ain’t so.

Our favorite nutcase, Britney Spears is having Thanksgiving dinner with Hannah Montana.

That’s right. Disney’s darling, Miley Cyrus is sharing her holidays with Brit-Brit.

Earlier this week, In Touch Magazine reported that Billy Ray Cyrus invited Britz to dinner with the Cyrus family, saying, “We love her. We would love to be there for you and we care about you.” He also stated that Miley is “a big fan” of Brit’s and “wants to reach out” to her.

Sadly, Brit will still be the biggest turkey in the room!

Tasty Tidbits: Crazed Hannah Montana Fan-Dad

Posted under Free for All & Miley Cyrus

hanna_montanta.jpg

Yahoo news reports that a seriously dedicated dad “hung on to a 12-foot statue of “Hannah Montana” for the better part of six days to win tickets to a sold-out concert by Miley Cyrus.”

Yes, you read that correctly. SIX DAYS.

Twenty lunatics contestants started Nov. 8, “placing a hand on the 400-pound statue in the parking lot of radio station WFLZ-FM, the contest’s sponsor.” They got 12-minute breaks every three hours and catered meals, but weren’t allowed books, cell phones or iPods.

Powell became the winner Wednesday afternoon when his last remaining rival, Lara Padgett, pooped out.

A Vision for Fashion

Posted under Free for All & Nicole Richie & Vanessa Hudgens & Miley Cyrus & Steve McQueen

As if celebrities aren’t busy enough - you know, all the jet-setting, fashion show attending, movie making, modeling and the like - some of them manage make it to a convention that sounds like it should be reserved for optometrists.

vanessa_hudgens.jpg

Vanessa Hudgens and Nicole Richie were in good celeb company recently at the International Vision Expo in Las Vegas. When reading the Expo website, it sounds like it focuses on optometry trends and breakthroughs. But apparently it’s the place to go to discover new trends in sunglasses and other eye wear. Who knew?
The event also houses benefits for various read more ....
