I’ll be honest. I’ve seen the previews for Tropic Thunder, but I’m still not sure I really GET what it’s about. Actors get stuck in a jungle filming a movie, which turns into a real war? Anyway, weird plots and all, Hollywood turned out in full-force to celebrate the opening of the flick. Its been at least two days since we announced the birth of a celebrity baby. We thought the well was running dry!

But thankfully Mathew McConaughey has come to the rescue of the sad life of a blogger to give us the news that he and girlfriend, Camila Alves, have welcomed the arrival of a baby boy on Monday night.

The baby boy was born in Los Angeles at 6:22 p.m. and weighed in at 7 lbs 4 oz.

While hitting the waves with several surfing pals last Saturday near Paradise Cove, the Failure to Launch star attracted a bevy of meddlesome photogs who were visibly unwanted.

According to several sources who tipped off Star Magazine, the 38-year-old made quite a spectacle of himself at the Iguana bar on Friday the 6^th. On top of consuming ungodly amounts of alcohol, he openly flirted with every woman in the joint!

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star Matthew McConaughey, 38, has announced on his website that he and his model girlfriend, Camilla Alves, 22, are expecting their first baby this year.

Camilla is just three months pregnant and according to Matthew, ‘all looks healthy and lively so far.’

McConaughey to play Wilson’s Role

Another Hollywood hunk, Matthew McConaughey, is set to replace head case Owen Wilson’s role in the movie Tropic Thunder. Biiiig surprise. The guy almost kills himself and wonders why he’s losing jobs left and right. The mental patient supposedly dropped out of the Dream Works production after his suicide attempt last month… DUH!
