Confirmed: Amy Winehouse to Perform at Grammy Awards

The beehive is up and running! In a statement released on Friday, Miss Amy Winehouse announced that she will indeed be participating in the Grammys on Sunday, February 10th: “I’m raring to go and really excited to be performing at my first Grammy Awards.”

Because the singer - who is nominated for six G’s - wasn’t granted a work visa to enter the United States, she will be appearing live from a London studio: “I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the last couple of weeks,” she proclaimed. “I’m really sorry I can’t be there but I read more ....

Is The Entire R&B World on Steroids?

This really explains a lot: The Times Union of Albany is reporting that “the names of R&B music star Mary J Blige, along with rap artists 50 Cent, Timbaland and Wyclef Jean, and award-winning author and producer Tyler Perry, have emerged in an Albany-based investigation of steroids trafficking that has already rocked the professional sports world, according to confidential sources.”

And you thought they were just pissed off and shooting at each other for record sales! Come to think of it, Blige has looked a little pumped lately.

Beyoncé, Bryan-Michael Cox, Gnarls Barkley, Israel Houghton, Ludacris, T.I., Justin Timberlake and John Williams received four each.

In light of the Britney anticipation (and subsequent let down), it’s easy to see how fashion on the red carpet could be overlooked. We’re here to rectify the situation. Some outfits were just as bad as Brit’s sloppy stripper performance, but other stars stepped up to the plate (or the red carpet) and brought their fashion best.
