Looks like Jessica Simpson really is bad luck, and tres “over.

Simpson’s new film, Â Blonde Ambition, got a vanity run in eight movie theatres in Texas this weekend, before going straight to DVD.

Simpson and Luke Wilson’s bomb grossed $48 per screen on Friday, racking up a whopping $384. That means about 40 people went to see the film, or just the members of Simpson’s new boyfriend Tony Romo’s family.

We thought he career was over after The Dukes of Hazzard, but this clinches it.

Owen’s “Bad Day” Won’t Affect His Career

While Owen Wilson has requested privacy, the rest of the entertainment world is rushing to support the actor publicly.

“He’s loved,” Bernie Brillstein, a veteran Hollywood manager who worked with John Belushi and Chris Farley, said Tuesday (according to MSN). “It’s serious, but it’s a singular case. Anyone can have a bad day, a very bad day.”

According to the Associated Press, Hollywood insiders believe Owen “should continue to enjoy big-screen success.”

Wilson was reportedly doing well at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He was taken from his Santa Monica home on Sunday night. Wilson was said to have read more ....

Owen Wilson’s Suicide Attempt

Extra has just confirmed that Owen Wilson was indeed hospitalized for a suicide attempt on Sunday. Somehow the news outlet managed to get hold of the police record of the 911 call that came from Owen’s house, where apparently he was found by his brother Luke Wilson after attempting to kill himself.

Owen began his career alongside Luke in the film Bottle Rocket, which he also wrote and created with director Wes Anderson. Since then he has been a widely acclaimed box office topping comedian.
