The “Smile” singer - who hasn’t released an LP since 2006 - recently told Newsbeat that she is officially done recording tracks for her highly-anticipated sophomore album!

According to an article in Rolling Stone, the project is titled Stuck on the Naughty Step, and will hopefully be available for purchase later this year.

“I’m pretty much sure it’s finished and I’ve got a meeting on Tuesday with the label,” Lily stated. “I’m really happy.”

Grammy-award winning singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse attempted to pull one over on us last March by declaring that she had contracted a “rare skin disorder,” but we’re not falling for it this time.

Whew, that was a close call! Feisty Lily Allen came thisclose to running into her Chemical Brothers ex Ed Simons earlier this week, reports The Daily Mail.

While dumping off his laundry at a dry cleaners in Notting Hill, the gap-toothed gentlemen was contacted by a friend who mentioned that Allen was only moments away. British pop star Lily Allen has returned from a romantic holiday in the Maldives with her Chemical Brothers boyfriend Ed Simons to the devastating news that she has miscarried the baby she announced she was having last December.
