Politicians are the new celebrities. At least until November. Barbra Streisand may have performed at Barack Obama’s most recent fundraiser and stars like Leonardo DiCaprio and Will Ferrell may have been in attendance but all eyes seem to be on those running for office.

They’ve been taking over primetime TV and even pushing A-listers off covers of magazines. Sarah Palin, for example, gave her first interview to People magazine, and the same tabloid rated Michelle Obama eighth best dressed.

So it’s no surprise that Israeli model Bar Refaeli is probably best known for being the arm candy of A-list actor, Leonardo DiCaprio. But the 22-year old is not one of these “actress/model/dancer/whatever” types; she’s been modeling since before she had her first birthday.
