With rumors running rampant that the 23-year-old actress is soon to be ditching The Hills, penning a new novel does nothing to help silence the gossipmongers.

“My biggest thing with the show was that I wanted to walk away from it while it’s still a great thing,” she professed to Seventeen. “I always want to remember it that way. I gave MTV a deadline and said, ‘This is as long as I can do it and stay sane.’”

Kind of. More like - crazy Hills character Audrina Patridge will be living on, on the new fall sitcom, Do Not Distrub. She won’t be appearing as herself, but rather making guest appearances on the show - and honestly, it sounds none too glamorous. She stated on her webside:
“I will be playing a guest checking into the hotel and I am going to film my scenes sometime next week! I think Jerry OConnell is hysterical (have you guys seen his video on that website Funny or Die?) and I can’t wait to meet Niecy [Nash]!”

It felt like just seconds after Lauren Conrad debuted her new clothing line at LA fashion week that less than frenemy Heidi Montag announced her new endeavor…yuuup, a fashion designer as well!� What a freak she is…

Montag said, “Lauren’s line is not necessarily something I would wear - she’s trying a high-fashion thing, but it’s a little over-priced.

“Mine is fun and flirty for the everyday woman. Most people can’t afford $200 for one dress.”

The Hills hottie Lauren Conrad turned 22! It must be nice being a reality star…I bet MTV even paid for her celebration.

Conrad celebrated like it was 1999 at� Hollywood’s Katsuya� with her group of girlfriends…of course Lauren (Lo) Bosworth and Whitney Port were by the b-day girl’s side. Duh!

“The group toasted Conrad’s birthday during their meal and couldn’t have looked happier,” says one eye-witness. Conrad, who sipped a watermelon-cucumber mojito, “was chatting with all of her friends and smiling.”
